Fire! (to keep you warm)

I was invited by the directors of the Parlour Room Gallery in Puyallup, WA to make a one night installation in their fireplace.

Unifying Themes; Spencer Moody collaboration

A collaborative sound Bonsai between myself and Mr. Spencer Moody (murder city devils, triumph of lethargy, dead low tide...) This work will be part of a larger installation at a later date but I thought I would share it with you. It is an edit of the entire "Unifying Themes" album by the legendary hardcore band "Botch". A minus project where all sounds but single instruments, dramatic pauses or vocal were removed reducing the hour long "mathcore" album down to what is heard here.

Up now at the James and Janie Washington Foundation at 1816 26th Ave., Seattle, WA. And then the bush said... A mixed media installation that includes audio edited from many of Mr. Washington's lectures ranging from 1972-1988. (see audio below) See more work at the open studio, July 29, 6-9 PM
