06-09 Sketchbook
This Sketchbook was started in the Fall of 06 in San Francisco. It has traveled with me and been drawn in everywhere from NYC to Smith Center Ks. My mission in this little volume has been to find some sort of natural drawing. A drawing that occurs out of its direct relation to itself, myself and the moment. Maybe feeling as little contrived (brain) as possible and as much thorough a dialogue (heart) as possible. Some of this is influenced by a shadow cast by one page on the other. Some upon the previous drawings impression upon the page. Some out of artifacts found and placed within the book. Definitely the first time a sketchbook has lasted me more than a month.
